I want to thank you all who received so well and read my latest issue(s) of the Golden Shores eXtra eNews Weekly. I have had such great response to the publication and so many requests for pricing of ads, I decided to send out this special email in hope of answering your questions.

ADVERTISING in Golden Shores eXtra eNews Weekly
It is our plan to put out the eNews each week on Thursday.
Please save or print this for future reference.
 
Display ad prices are based on being the same as The Civic except they are arranged a little different.
Also prices are for four weekly issues. For example, if you want a business card ad, the monthly price is $15. If you only want it in for one week, the price is $5. Monthly price means each issue, every Thursday for a month.
 
ALL ADS MUST BE IN TO US NO LATER THAN TUESDAY MORNING TO GO IN THAT WEEK'S ENEWS.
 
DISPLAY ADS:
A Height Unit is approx 1½ inches high.
All Display Ads must be ready-to-use graphics. You can 1. use your Civic ad, 2. make your own or have someone else make it, 3. We will make it for you at the same price of the ad (once made you can re-use it as many times as you like).
All display ads can include a Click-on Link to a Website or Email (but not both) for an additional $5.00.
ALL ADS MUST BE ELECTRONIC COMPUTER FILES SUCH AS .jpg .gif .bmp .pcx, etc., but not Publisher files like ..pub.
 
$15. Business card ad is one column wide in the GSX enews and one unit high.
$25. Quarter page is two units high.
$35. Half page is two columns wide and two units high.
$50. Full page is two columns wide and four units high.
 
Banner ads include links to Websites or Email and are approximately 2 columns wide and one unit high, but outside the main text box, either Above or Below.
$30. Above    $20. Below
 
A Website Link or Email Link is $10 for first line and $5 per additional line per month.
 
CLASSIFIED ADS:
NON-business classifieds, such as yard sales or a car for sale, up to 4 lines are FREE.
Business classifieds up to 4 lines $10 per month.
Additional lines are $2 per line per month, business or not.
Classified Ads can include an address and phone number, but do NOT include a Website Link or Email Link.
 
CIRCULATION:
We already have several hundred email addresses in and around Golden Shores. So far, we have only had one UNsubscribe and they were out of town. If you are not receiving this Golden Shores eXtra eNews Weekly, or know someone who is not receiving it, you need to send your/their email address to
sub@goldenshores.net or call 768-1400.
It is our plan to start putting this eNews out on paper in the near future. IT WILL BE IN COLOR. It will go out in stores, offices, and restaurants in Golden Shores. It will not go in the mail without a paid subscription. Prices may change at that time.
 
NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS:
Organizations such as the Civic Association, Women's Club, Baptist Church, etc., can have articles up to 20 lines for FREE. Articles about events will run the week before the event. Display ads will be at a 20% discount from the above prices of Insertion Only (cost of making the ad remains the same).
 
SPECIAL NOTICE:
This eNews publication is new and we do not yet have much experience in costs. Therefore, all prices and conditions are subject to change with or without notice. This is where we start. We are open to suggestions. If there is something you would like to see in the publication, or a change you would like to see, please let us know.
 
The Golden Shores eXtra eNews Weekly (GSX) is a division of Golden Passport Photo, Inc. and is not in any way affiliated with the Golden Shores Civic Association. Even though you may use the same ads and articles in both, all charges are completely separate and one has nothing to do with the other.
