 G.S. - I want to apologize for not getting this paper out last Friday. I was in the hospital and my wife wouldn't let me have my laptop (haha). It is the only one I've missed in 63 weeks. I have a lot of news piling up and will do my best to have a good paper out this Friday.
It is at times like this that I wish I had an associate to work with me. Although I make very little money doing this paper so the pay would be very low. I publish this paper because I love this community and almost everyone I talk to says they appreciate the weekly news so much as an addition to the monthly Civic which does not allow news. So if you are interested in a good low-paying job, please call or email. You MUST have a computer and know how to use it.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
G.S. - The National Day of Prayer is an annual event for Americans of all faiths to take time to pray for our nation and its leaders. We will observe this 53rd annual day on Thursday, May 6, 2004. You are invited to join with us as we pray for our leaders in our community and school, county, state and national leaders. We will meet in front of the Topock Elementary School at 7:30 a.m. If you would like to join with the walkers, please meet at the Golden Shores Baptist Church at 7:00 a.m. and walk to the school.
